Welcome to New River! Our focus at New River is not growing a Big Church, but rather growing BIG PEOPLE that make a BIG IMPACT on our communities. We desire change in our lives through God's touch as we spend time with Him in prayer, Bible reading, worship and fellowship together, so we can touch the changing world around us. Jesus is the only true HOPE for change! We affect change one person at a time as we serve our community and each other with practical expressions of Christ’s love. The Apostle John writes of Jesus in John 1:14 that “the Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” As we serve our community and one another, we are living the Word by allowing it to become real in our lives and in the lives of those we touch. That is what being a community is about. If you are new to the area and considering attending New River, we want you to experience life, true life that comes from the "Living Water." Ezekiel writes in Ezekiel 47:9, “Where the river flows, everything will live.” When we walk in a daily relationship with Jesus Christ, we are the "river" that flows. Wherever we go, we bring with us “New Life and a New Hope” opening up for those who will receive and drink deep from the Living Water “New Horizons and New Opportunities.” Join us this Sunday morning at 10:00 AM for our English Service, or at 2:30 PM for our Spanish Service, as we celebrate Jesus, for unto us "A Savior is born!" We meet at Brighton Collegiate High School, located at the corner of East Southern St. and South Telluride. “Let’s all meet at New River!”
About New River Church We are part of the family of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. We are "foursquare" in the full meaning of the word: i.e., forthright, unequivocating, solidly and boldly presenting a firm stand. Our firm stand pertains to the elements of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In a day when a diluted message is producing deluded people, we stress a thorough proclamation of the Word of God, emphasizing the four essential ministries of the Lord Jesus to those who will believe.
